Summer #BlogChallenge Day # 15: A Picture I am Proud of!
This one was really hard for me since I have already posted a bunch of pictures that I am proud of. I have been flipping through everything and I really wish I had my pictures from Europe so that I could showcase some of those but those are somewhere in Illinois at my parents house. I will eventually find the negatives for those and get myself some of those pictures on here. Instead I dug through even more of my pictures looking for something new to post and I think I found the perfect one.
We went to visit my boyfriends mom not too long ago and we were able to see Cody! Cody is my dog, Kratos' brother even though he is Yellow and Kratos Black. Cody is also one litter older than Kratos. Our buddy misses his brother and loves when they get to visit. I just fell in love with these pictures I took when I was inside! Doesn't he just look so friendly!?

I was given two different products to review and was very excited. I have a pretty large dog, Kratos, a black Labrador and even though he is going to be 6 next month he still has the energy of a 2 year old. I admit he can be a handful and a HUGE baby, but he is my baby.
The directions are to put a couple of drops into water, or directly into the mouth. I tried a few different ways from putting it on his food and tongue. He preferred on his food. I couldn't put it in the water because I was unsure what the affect would be on my two cats that drink from the water dish.
The second product that I was given was this All Natural Kissable Toothpaste and brush for my dog. I had never brushed his teeth before now and it went really well. My dog lets me do a lot of different things to him from playing with his toes to now brushing his teeth. It did take a little practice getting him to stay still and get all of his teeth brushed, but there was a significant change in his breath with the use of this toothpaste.
Ingredients:
Kaolin- polishes teeth
Tea Tree Oil- Antiseptic and antifungal properties plus, leaves breath smelling fresh
Stevia and VanillaStevia and Vanilla- Natural sweeteners create a great taste without raising the dog's glycemic index

Rover Respond'R Review
I was given the opportunity to review the Wag'N Rover Respond'R Mobile Emergency Information Kit. I know I have talked about this before, but my pets are my children. I love them to death and I spoil them just like I probably would a child.

FREE Pet First Aid Bandana
On top of all of these wonderful things you will be getting there is also an interactive DVD that comes with the Emergency kit. This DVD is full of useful forms such as: Pet Owner Form, Pet Profile Form, Emergency Contact Form, a Wallet Emergency Card, and two Printable Lost/Stolen Pet Signs.
I loved these printable forms because you can put in the information and print it off and do it again for an additional pets or when information changes about your pet or any of your contact information such as a phone number change or address change.
The first thing I did when I got my package in the mail was open it up and look at the bandana which is really cool. I tried to tie it around my dog's neck, but he wouldn't let me keep that on long enough for even a picture.
When you purchase your Emergency Kit you can choose your FREE Bandana color from: Red, Orange, Dark Brown, or Light Pink. I was sent the orange one which I think if your dog is going to wear when you are out on trips is perfect because of how bright it is. I think if we ever go hiking or camping I would find a way to keep it around his neck just because I know it will stand out.
After trying out the bandana I put in the DVD and made all of my forms and printed and folded them up into the folder that was provided with the kit. I already had a pet decal in my house on the front door so I added this one to our back door. I figure the two main points of entry for firemen would be those two doors.
Once I had gone through everything I put it all in the glove compartment of my car like instructed and have it there in case it is ever needed. I do want to take my dog, Kratos to the vet and get all of his paperwork and shots updated and filled out in the passport that as given to me. I already had little books like that for my cats that was given to me when I got them, but not for my dog. I think these are real handy so if you move or anything you can show it with the vets signature so they know the tests were truly done.
Overall, I have to say that I love this Emergency Kit and that it is definitely worth the $34.95. They do also have the same kit for cats/ferrets and I am thinking about getting a cat kit and an additional cat passport.

SmartBones Review
I know many people out there are pet lovers like me! I love my pets to death! You have no idea! I was so excited when I was given the opportunity to review SmartBones! I have a larger dog so I was give the bones made for dogs 50+ pounds in size! My dog is a heavy chewer and he is a little on the picky side. Now, I am not saying he won't eat anything you put in front of him, but he is always timid at first when given a new food to eat.
Lately we had been noticing that his breath was smelling pretty bad. These SmartBones did the trick! They were great. His breath smelled so much better and he loved chewing on them. I will show you the whole saga. For now let me tell you a little about SmartBones!
SmartBones come in two different flavors chicken or peanut butter and are chalked full of natural vitamins, chicken, and vegetables! These treats also come in dental varieties with added benefits (Like I found with making his breath smell good!)
These bones also come in four different sizes depending on the size of your dog!
Now to show you the cuteness that is my dog (and cat). The first thing that I did was take the bag out of the mailer and instantly my dog jumped up. He always knows when something is for him even if he has never seen it before, how he knows this I do not know! So, as I manage to open the package, which took a couple tries with my hands, he was jumping up and down like a Mexican jumping bean. I mentioned before that he is sort of picky. When I handed it to him it took a little coaxing for him to actually take it from me.

Once Kratos had decided it was his he picked it up and moved just a little turning his back on the cat like he always does when he gets a treat, but of course the cat just kept getting closer!
He was in love with it! He kept chewing on it and playing with it just like his inner puppy likes to do. I swear he acts like he is still 2 and not 6!
Overall this treat was a complete hit in my house! The cat enjoyed watching the dog play and chew on his new treat and my dog was in love with the bone!
My overall opinion for these is that they are great! The pros are that they are great for his breath making it smell great! They are also durable so he does not eat it in one bite and want more instead he can take his time and eat it while playing with it which is important since he destroys toys really fast! The cons for the product are really minor. My only con is that he made a mess with the bones. There were little tiny pieces of the hard bone on the floor from him tearing it up. This happens whenever we buy him a bone in this shape instead of something that is in a flat strip. These pieces do hurt my tender feet so I had to vacuum them up right away! They would also be a hazard if you have a mobile baby in the home.
