Summer #BlogChallenge Day #11: Best Day of My Life

--Best Day of My Life--


I have been thinking about this for days and here I am halfway through today and I have normally been getting these up early, but not this one.  I don't have any big moments I can remember.  I didn't do anything special for my 18th or 21st birthdays.  I didn't go to my high school graduation, though I have pictures of me in my gown.  I'm not married, I don't have any children.  So, really what day stands out the most?

I would have to say after much thought and discussion with my boyfriend that the day that we met in person is the best day of my life.  We had been friends online for years throughout high school.  We met young and then finally after high school graduation we met in person.  I drove from Illinois to Michigan and 5 1/2 hour drive where I met him at his mom's house.  We spent the day hanging out and going out for Chinese at his favorite Chinese restaurant (our now favorite place).  I regrettably  had to drive all the way back from Michigan to Illinois that night, but I have to admit I am so glad that I made that drive!  It was a wonderful day and one that we both will always remember.
