Mother-in-law

I appreciate the guest post, Vito Rivers

I have been trying to be a better gift giver. It really is a pet peeve of mine when people just randomly go shopping for someone on their birthday. You end up just getting a whole bunch of stuff that you don't need and probably won't use. Don't even get me started on flowers as a gift. Why in the world would you give someone something that you know is going to die in five to seven days? I much rather give someone something that they actually want and will use everyday. I started thinking about it and figured out what the perfect most useful gift would be! I am going to get my mother-in-law Get directtv for her birthday. It may seem like a weird gift, but it is something that I use every single day and I love all the channels and movies that come on. I figure is a way for her to remember every day that I love her! I know I would love this as a gift and I hope she does too.

WORDS WITH FRIENDS

Authored by Rickey Combs

I have gotten addicted to a game that I can play on my iPad using my clear 4g connection. The game is the same one that Alec Baldwin got into all that trouble over on the United Flight. Yes, you guessed it, it is “Words with Friends”. It is so much fun. It is basically like a computer Scrabble. You can play against friends that you know or you can play against random opponents. You can even link your game to your Facebook so that everyone can see how great of a Scrabble player you are. I have really gotten better with time, learned more strategies, and learned a lot of new words that I didn’t even know existed. When I find a word that I don’t know the meaning of, I make sure that I look up. It justifies me playing a computer game all the time. I always tell myself that it is educational and that playing in my free time is o.k. Hey, its not like I’m playing games like Halo, that aren’t in least educational!
