I need help!

Now, I know many people are talking about nomorerack.com.  I wanted to put my 2 cents in!  So, far my experience with this site has been wonderful.  They have some awesome deals everyday!  On most days they have at one item listed that is free with the $2 shipping and handling cost.

This book was the easiest understanding of how our government works, that I have ever read.

My children and I spent about a week reading this wonderful little book of only 48 pages. Each day we covered a different section in the book varying from Rules of Government, Rights of the People, The Three Branches of Government, to the Checks and Balances of our Government.

The U.S. Constitution and You was amazingly illustrated as well, with pictures to show you exactly what the author was explaining in print. It really made studying this topic a lot easier and a whole lot of fun.

I must admit we truly learned a lot about our early framers (founders). And we were able to see just how much thought and work went into creating our one of a kind system of government. This book teaches the basic fundamentals of our government and works well for children in elementary school all the way up to adulthood.

I cannot tell you just how much I highly recommend this book, especially during this election year. Everyone should know how our glorious country came from being ruled by a king…. to Having The Articles of Confederation…. to what we now are blessed with The U.S. Constitution.

NMEDA MUST READ!!!!!

As someone who is disabled I know how important it is to find the organizations out there that can help out someone in need.  NMEDA is one of those non-for-profit organizations.  This is the only organization out there that promotes safe driving and equipment for disabled people.  This organization does not sell anything.  It is their dealers (members) that sell handicap vans and vehicle modifications that must adhere to the safety standards of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. 

The reason you want to go to NMEDA and not just get a handicap accessible van or anything off the internet or ad is because going through one of their dealers you can get a personalized car.  This is a good thing because no two people with a disability are exactly the same.  You can see that just looking at people in my family who all have the same disability.  We all have different symptoms and different issues that would need to be dealt with differently in a car.

The NMEDA has Dealers and then they also have Quality Assurance Program Dealers.  QAP Dealers are held to a much higher standard than other dealers.  In order to be a QAP Dealer they must abide by certain requirements.  

The QPA is also the only recognized accreditation program for the mobility equipment industry.  I have listed the QPA requirements below.

QAP Requirements:

Ø  Maintain Product and Completed Operations and Garage Keepers insurance for liability purposes.

Ø  Have certified welders if they perform structural modifications to vehicles.

Ø  Have technicians certified for the equipment they sell, install and service.

Ø  Maintain records of all adaptive work.

Ø  Undergo an inspection/audit process at least annually by an independent auditing firm to ensure compliance to the NMEDA Guidelines, certain aspects of the Americans with Disabilities Act, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and “Make Inoperative” mandates.

Ø  Abide by the Mediation Committee’s decisions when a complaint is lodged by a consumer, a Dealer, or any other person or entity.

Ø  Provide 24 hour service to their customers.

Ø  Meet shop facility and equipment requirements.

Ø  Have four-corner scales.

If you have a QAP Dealer around you it would be more beneficial to go to that dealer because you get a lot more guaranteed from their services.

I looked up the dealers around me and there are two within 50 miles of me and both of them are QAP dealers.  I plan on looking at both of them and seeing what they have to offer and see if there is anything that I can benefit from.  There are over 600 Dealers now a part of NMEDA across the nation.

Do you need a Safety Sign!?

Safetysign.com is a great website that sells signs that are needed for businesses as well as signs for the home as well.  Looking through their site you can find so many signs that you might not even think about needing or wanting, but they would be useful around the house.

Maybe you don’t actually need some of these signs, but you think they look cool.  You can come here to get them and hang them up in or outside your house to create a new focus in your room.  It isn’t traditional, but it can look cool.

They have a variety of signs including Street Signs, No Trespassing Signs, and Road Signs.  On top of the signs they also have Safety Labels for putting on machinery and other appliances and items.  They also carry a supply of safety tags, and other safety items such as caution tape, and wet floor stands.

I know looking through all of this there are many items I could see myself buying even if it is some caution, beware, and ect. signs and items to use for decorations for around the house or Halloween.  While others are ones that I could see myself using around my own house and neighborhood.
