Summer #BlogChallenge Day #10: Famous Painting I Want

--Cost aside, famous art piece you would have in your home.--

I seem to be having troubles with these different days.  Today's took a lot of effort on my part.  I love the older more traditional famous art whether it is paintings, or sculptures.  I have been to museums in Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and France.

These places include the Sistine Chapel, and the Louvre.  I know there are more but the names of the locations are a blank for me right now.  I loved all of the paintings and sculptures that I saw, but I would never want to bring them home with me.

The things that I have a passion for with modern art is photo-manipulations.  These types of art are generally photographs that are digital and put on the computer and then edited and manipulated in programs like Photoshop, Corel, Illustrator, and many more.  One free one you can use if you want to see what it is, is GIMP.

I have done some photo-manipulation before and really enjoy it because I find it relaxing.  I know that I have gotten off topic some, but these are the words coming from my fingertips.  The image to the right is an image that I made in Photoshop with an old picture of me.  I removed the background and added a new one as well as some other filters.  I think that it turned out really nice especially with the way that I was positioned in the picture.

This second image is another one that I made in Photoshop however it was done with a black and white photo that I added different colors to each of the individual flowers.  This second one took more time, but it was fun coming out with something like that because it was the first time I had added color to a picture.

Now, that I have explained all of that let me show you what images I would love to have prints of framed in my house!  I love Deviantart.com because there are so many amazing artists.  Potion-Master on that website has some amazing images many with a fantasy type theme to them.
Breath of Life by Potion-Master.

This first image I love because it has a sort of fairy down to earth theme looking like she is bringing the butterfly to life which would be an amazing thing.  The birth of a new life is such a magnificent thing.
Let me fly by Potion-Master

This second image I really love because the idea of flight is something that I have always wished existed.  I would love to sprout wings and be able to just fly away.  This picture depicts the turmoil of being bound to Earth unable to fly up high in the sky.

You can check out even more of her work on her profile here.  You can see that she has many other types of images on there.  These are just two of hers  that I would love to frame and hang on my walls.

What kind of art do you like?  And what big famous art would you like to have in your home?
